Welcome to The Big Sky Backpacking, my name is Skyler Genazzi and I am the owner and founder of The Big Sky Backpacking Guiding services! With years of experience, and hundreds of miles hiking the Bitterroot and Rattlesnake Wilderness , I am passionate about creating memorable outdoor experiences for individuals and small groups.

I earned my Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Montana in 2020 and I am a Band teacher during the school year! My passion for backpacking began in 2017 while attending the University of Montana. Since then, I go hiking and backpacking year round on almost every chance I get. Hammock camping has become my specialty through all four seasons, but all styles of camping can be accommodated.
